The
Secretary read out the list of 38 apologies which included six overseas
members and Frances Carder, a loyal supporter of many years standing, who was

reception and coffee making by Esme Weller and Pauline Brittain.
Chairman's Report Having provided
a full report for the Autumn Newsletter, John Hayns
was able |

New Committee |
to give a mercifully brief report to the
Meeting! He chose to look back over his three year term of |
|
|
office and list some of the points which had
occupied the committee during that time. It was an |

Outstanding Subscriptions |
impressive list and these are some of the more
notable items: The dedication of the Memorial Gates; establishment of the
"Doc Morgan Appeal' as a tribute to his efforts to inculcate a love of
music in |
|
|
so many of us, the appeal resulting in the
presentation of a purpose made conductor's podium and a |

duet piano stool; summer hospitality events;

has been received for 2005. While thanking all
members of the committee for their work over the |

the onerous duties of Secretary, but also the
role of Membership Secretary. |
