May
I remind you that our Lunch is a buffet style meal. There will be a choice of turkey or beef for
the hot meal, as an alternative to the cold meats/fish with salads and new
potatoes. The type of meal you choose
does not have to be pre-booked – you can decide when you get to the serving tables!
We
look forward to seeing you! It is hoped that there will be a display of
memorabilia which should be of interest to everyone. In certain instances your help will be
sought with the identification of some of the rogues of yesteryear!
Yours
sincerely,
Sheila Sandford

DIRECTIONS FOR REACHING REIGATE MANOR HOTEL
Reigate
station is about a mile and a half from the Hotel, up the hill on your right as
you leave the station. Taxi rank nearby.
(Note: Redhill station, a
couple of miles away, offers a better service from London without having to
change anywhere. Please contact me if
you need more info on this)
On
the M.25, you need Junction 8.
Follow
signs for Reigate Town Centre and Gatwick -
this is Reigate Hill and after about a mile you will see an ESSO
Petrol station on the right, just after 30 mph sign on a clearly marked bend,
At
the further end of the forecourt, turn right as if going into the petrol
station but keep to the extreme left and follow the road round behind
the Hotel into the car park. The “front
entrance” is clearly visible at the back!
Entering
Reigate from Dorking to the East or from Redhill to
the West, enter the one way system and follow signs for the M.25, continue over
the level crossing, pass the railway station, then about a mile further on the
road begins to rise more steeply, and you will soon see the ESSO Petrol
Station on your left – turn as if going in to the petrol station but keep
to extreme left and follow road round behind the Hotel to car park. The “front entrance” is clearly visible
at the back!
The
front entrance is approached by a short flight of steps.
An
easier alternative is a sloped entrance to the left as you face the steps,
starting near the corner of the building
There
are some disabled parking spaces on your left before you turn to access the
hotel entrance, and several more immediately to the right of the steps.
Registration
will be straight ahead of you as you enter, manned by Esme Weller.
(Toilets
on left as you enter hotel)
Don’t
hesitate to give me a ring if you have any questions – 01372 - 372 936.
