I have just realised that it has been recently impossible to add any comments to these items. I, using the admin option, had been able to, but had not tried to comment as a reader. So my apologies and I will try to find a solution to this asap.
I have tinkered and comments are active again. I awaited an independent entry to be sure it did really work for anyone.
And Richard Overall did just that.
