I have just been made aware of a ‘Dorkinian’ – ie not ‘Ashcombe Dorkinian’ – website; seeemingly various Dorking residents contributing Dorking news and histories. I hope someone will tell us more about what it really is. I have added it to our ‘Links’ list and hope for developments. We can gain from input about Dorking and surrrounds which will be of interest for our members both local and far afield. A few of the ‘ning’ have Mowbray connections; maybe some have Ashcombe connections. The site gives a list of their members with photos which may indicate to those who recognise them where they come from. If some are already our members, I hope they will put us more in the picture.
